Christmas House Tour 2019

17 December 2019

Our house looks less like Santa's grotto than usual this year as we're now the proud owners of a highly inquisitive, bouncy, cockapoo puppy. That being said, he's been far better behaved than we were expecting and so far our two (!!) Christmas trees have pretty much come out unscathed. I mean, a couple of baubles may have made their way to bauble heaven but other than that, he really has been good as gold.

For today's post, I thought we'd have a little wander around my house and a nose at all of our Christmas decorations. If you'd like to compare notes with last year's house tour, feel free to do so!

Our tree is a prelit, artificial one from M&S and the decorations are a real assortment of things we've collected over the years. The theme is rose gold, gold, and white, and I'm gonna be honest, I love it a lot.

In my bedroom, my red fairisle bedding is from M&S, the huge candle and gnome are from Homesense and the silver wire Christmas tree is from B&M. The actual Christmas tree is one I bought in Asda forever ago and the other bits and bobs are all from Primark or Poundland!

In our lounge, we have our real tree decorated with bits and pieces from Wilko, a couple of gnomes handknitted by my Nanna and a giant gnome from Homesense. The red stocking and holder is from M&S and we have two of each of these. Can you believe Murph hasn't gone for the stockings yet?! They're literally giant socks hanging at just the right height for him to grab... What a good boy.
How have you decorated your house this year?
