Sick Tings 037

3 February 2019

It is so so nice to be back to reality. Exams are well and truly done and forgotten about, I haven't even had to think about revision and I've actually had time to hang out with my friends. All of my new modules have started and I'm welcoming the change. This semester I'm studying 'The Psychology of Advertising' and whilst I've only had one lecture so far, I can already tell that this is going to be super super interesting so I'e got a really good feeling about the next few months.

A lifestyle roundup of my week at university featuring all I've bought, watched, eaten, seen and been up to. Featuring a job interview in london, aqua zumba and my little sister passing her driving test

Last semester I picked really random optional modules choices and so I rarely I saw my best pals. Well, this semester is a whole other kettle of fish. We all have one compulsory module together, and then we've also all picked one that's the same so it really is a welcome change. We have our little lunch club altogether and catch up on everything that's been going on. It's lovely. We also have a piece of group work we need to do and are all in the same group, so I'm so glad that I get to spend my last few months of university working with my best pals. All is good.

This week my LITTLE sister passed her driving test, eeeek! For those of you who are new around here, I passed my test whilst I was at sixth form and haven't driven since. But, my little sister has a car and so this weekend has been spent being chauffeured by her. We took our Nannie for afternoon tea at the local garden centre, and can I just say, the scones were INCREDIBLE. Potentially one of the best I've ever had, a very high accolade indeed. My sister also drove me for a food shop and then today we went for a swim this afternoon. (Something we haven't done in yeaaaars).

Speaking of swimming, I also went to Aqua Zumba at uni with week with one of my best pals. Now, I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but what unfolded certainly wasn't what I had been anticipating. For one, there were only four of us in the whole class so there was nowhere to hide, but it was more just aqua fit than zumba, but we had a good time nonetheless. I don't think I'll be going again though, mind. I think I'll just stick to the gym, thank you. But, two swims in a week, look at that.

Okay, so the biggie this week; I had a job interview for a graduate job in London. So, I bought my coach tickets weeks in advance feeling all smug that I could just jump on it at uni and be in London in a couple of hours. Well, the south was hit by a load of snow, so my uphill walk to uni at 7am in heeled boots was a little more sketchy than first planned. But, all was good and I made it to the stop with plenty of time. I spent the morning wandering around Oxford Street and Carnaby Street, before having lunch near the offices where my interview was being held. Now, I should hopefully hear the outcome of the interview this week and if I'm successful there's another interview and then after that, it's the whole contract signing stage. Eeeeek, I've got everything crossed. I then headed back to Oxford Street for a second - less preoccupied - wander around the shops. Due to the snow all of the coaches home had been cancelled due to the M3 closure, but thankfully I managed to run and catch a train so managed to get home safe and sound. For a minute I thought I was going to be having a very last minute London sleepover in the cheapest hotel I could find. Alas, it didn't come to that thankfully.

In blogging news, this week I actually collaborated with Holly of Hey It's Ok. I was the first blogger to take part in her new series and I looooved answering all the questions. If you wanna hear all of my opinions on Zoella and Alfie, how to juggle uni and blogging, and why I first started Becc4 then head over to her post here.

What have you been up to this week?
