Sick Tings 006

18 March 2018

This week was the last week of uni before the Easter holiday, so, naturally, was really really busy. On Monday I had a Perception midterm. It was alright, it could've been better, it could've been worse. After any exam, it's become a bit of a tradition for my pals and I to go for a pint, regardless of what time or day it is. So Monday afternoon we spent at the uni pub and it was really nice.

Tuesday saw me attend a white t-shirt social. For anyone that's unaware what that entails: everyone wears a white tee and doodles all sorts of obscenities on everyone else's top at pres and then everyone goes clubbing in their newly graffitied, incriminating tees... I blurred the photo for my own future job prospects, future Becca can thank me later, but I'll leave you to guess what sorta thing was on it. It was really nice to have a night out with most of my best friends in attendance. It's pretty rare these days.

I missed Mother's Day this year due to the aforementioned exam, so I spent an entire afternoon this week baking my Mumma a cake. (Thank you university strikes for giving me plenty of free time this week!) It was a triple layer chocolate mini egg cake, and oh my was it delicious.

My blog/twitter/instagram have all been spammed by the Supermarine bloggers event this week, and quite rightly so. It was a really lovely evening full of good food, good drink and good company. I've posted allllll about the event here if you're interested to read more.

This blog got a makeover this week, woop woop. I spent quite a long time trying to design a new header but I think I've finally settled on this one. What does anyone think?

I moved back home for the Easter break (all four weeks of it) on Friday. It has been so nice being home. There's an endless supply of good food, the house is never cold and I'd forgotten quite how comfy my bed was. It's also much brighter and prettier here, roll on all the blog photos.  Oh, and my family are pretty great too.

Finally, I made it to Parkrun this week. I hadn't been in ages due to the snow/being immensely hungover and it wasn't as terrible as I expected. I didn't get a new PB but I was the 15th female to finish, so that was pretty cool. I've posted all about parkrun here, if you're wondering what on earth I'm talking about...
